Formé à l’École Nationale Supérieure de Danse de Marseille, Brice bénéficie, dès ses premières années d’apprentissage, de l’enseignement de figures majeures de la danse, telles que Roland Petit et Marie-Claude Pietragalla. Il poursuit ensuite sa formation à Londres, au sein de la prestigieuse Royal Ballet School, dont il sort diplômé en 2008.
Fraîchement diplômé, Brice Asnar est engagé comme stagiaire au Northern Ballet, sous la direction de David Nixon. L’année suivante, il rejoint le corps de ballet de l’English National Ballet, alors dirigé par Wayne Eagling, où il poursuit son développement artistique.
En 2011, il rejoint le Staatsballett Karlsruhe en tant que soliste, sous la direction de Birgit Keil. Il y danse durant quatre saisons avant d’intégrer le Ballett am Rhein, dirigé par Martin Schläpfer.
En 2020, Brice reprend sa liberté artistique en devenant artiste freelance. Il est alors régulièrement invité à participer à différents galas internationaux, notamment à l’International Ballet Gala de Salzburg et à l’Eccletica Ballet Gala.
Parallèlement à sa carrière de danseur, il développe son univers chorégraphique. Il a créé près d’une vingtaine de pièces, parmi lesquelles « Less », « Hieran » et « Chopping Water », qui figurent parmi ses créations les plus récentes.
Également attaché à la transmission, Brice intervient régulièrement en tant que professeur invité à l’international, partageant son expertise et faisant découvrir son univers artistique.
Trained at the École Nationale Supérieure de Danse de Marseille, Brice benefited from an early age from the guidance of leading figures in the world of dance, including Roland Petit and Marie-Claude Pietragalla. He continued his training in London at the prestigious Royal Ballet School, graduating in 2008.
Upon graduation, Brice Asnar joined Northern Ballet as an apprentice under the direction of David Nixon. The following year, he joined the corps de ballet of English National Ballet, then directed by Wayne Eagling, where he continued to develop his artistic career.
In 2011, he joined Staatsballett Karlsruhe as a soloist under the direction of Birgit Keil. He danced with the company for four seasons before joining Ballett am Rhein, directed by Martin Schläpfer.
In 2020, Brice embarked on a new chapter of artistic independence, becoming a freelance artist. He has since been regularly invited to perform at international galas, including the International Ballet Gala in Salzburg and the Eccletica Ballet Gala.
Alongside his career as a dancer, he has developed his own choreographic language. He has created nearly twenty works, including “Less”, “Hieran” and “Chopping Water”, among his most recent creations.
Committed to passing on his knowledge, Brice also regularly works internationally as a guest teacher, sharing his expertise and introducing dancers to his artistic universe.
