Originaire d’Uberlândia, ville nichée au cœur du Brésil, Victor Caixeta fait ses premiers pas de danse dans les studios de l’école « Projeto Pé de Moleque ». Porté par son talent, il s’envole pour l’Europe, afin de rejoindre la « Staatliche Ballettschule » de Berlin, en Allemagne.
En 2017, alors fraichement diplômé à Berlin et lauréat de prestigieux concours tels que le TanzOlymp Berlin et l’European Grand Prix, en tant que véritable graine d’étoile, Victor intègre le célèbre Mariinsky Ballet de Saint-Pétersbourg, en Russie. Il y gravit les échelons par sa grâce et sa virtuosité, et se voit nommé Soliste en 2019.
Cependant, les tumultes géopolitiques provoqués par le conflit russo-ukrainien le poussent à quitter la compagnie en mars 2022, dès les débuts du conflit, pour s’installer sur une nouvelle terre d’accueil, les Pays-Bas. Victor y trouve une nouvelle scène au Dutch National Ballet qu’il rejoint en tant que Premier Soliste. Son charisme, sa technique et son talent lui permettent de s’élever au rang d’Etoile en une seule année. Une belle récompense, après ces tristes chamboulements…
Son talent et son excellence n’auront pas seulement illuminé les Pays-Bas ! Victor a aussi marqué les scènes internationales en tant qu’Etoile invitée au Teatro dell’Opera di Roma, au Tokyo Ballet ou encore au Hong Kong Ballet.
Originally from Uberlândia, a town nestling in the heart of Brazil, Victor Caixeta took his first steps in dance at the “Projeto Pé de Moleque” school. Guided by his talent, he flew to Europe to join the Staatliche Ballettschule in Berlin, Germany.
In 2017, recently graduated his dance training in Berlin and winner of prestigious competitions such as the TanzOlymp Berlin and the European Grand Prix, Victor, a star in the making, joined the famous Mariinsky Ballet in Saint Petersburg, Russia. He rose through the ranks with his grace and virtuosity, and was promoted Soloist in 2019.
However, the geopolitical tumult caused by the Russian-Ukrainian conflict led him to leave the company in March 2022, at the onset of the conflict, to settle in a new home, the Netherlands. There, Victor found a new stage at the Dutch National Ballet, which he joined as First Soloist. His charisma, technique and talent propelled him to the rank of Principal within just one year. Victor’s talent and excellence have brightened not only the Netherlands, but he also made his mark on international stages as a guest Principal at the Teatro dell’Opera di Roma, the Tokyo Ballet and the Hong Kong Ballet.
