From Sunday 26 July to Sunday 2 August 2026
Accessible from age 12 with a minimum of 2 years’ dance experience
NEW: courses for adults.
Venue: Bluepoint Liège, Bd Emile de Laveleye 191, 4020 Liège
For this 22nd edition, a few adjustments have been made to the organization so that you can enjoy even more of the challenging and diverse teaching we offer. Most classes now last 1.30, and a minimum 30-minute break is mandatory at lunchtime.
Our faculty:
- Classical: Myriam Simon, former Principal Dancer of the Stuttgart Ballet and Les Grands Ballets Canadiens, currently teaching at Ecole de Danse supérieure du Québec.
- Béjart repertoire: Julio Arozarena, former dancer and ballet master with the Béjart Ballet Lausanne.
- Contemporary: Jérôme Marchand, former Principal Dancer with Les Ballets de Monte-Carlo and the Royal Swedish Ballet, current international dancer and director of his own school in Edinburgh.
- Theater (scenic expression) and classical repertoire: Elsa Godard, actress and former dancer with the Royal Ballet Covent Garden.
- Floor barre: Aude Lomenech, former dancer with the Nice Opera Ballet, specializing in anatomy, trained in the Pilates method and in pre- and post-natal yoga with Bernadette de Gasquet.
Ballet classes will be accompanied by live piano music.
Classes run from Sunday 26 July to Friday 31 July inclusive. On Saturday 1 August, rehearsals for the end-of-course show will take place. The schedule for this day will be announced during the course. The end-of-course show will take place on Sunday 2 August at 2pm at La Boverie Auditorium. Tickets will be on sale during the course. Please remember that at the end-of-course show, students will present the week’s work, as well as, their personal creations or their competition or exam variations, if they wish so. It’s an open space, where everyone can express themselves as they please, have fun, without judgement. This approach is fundamental and essential to our vision, and this show is very close to our hearts.
Our boarding school option with 24-hour supervision is available. Places are limited, so first-come, first-served (last year some people were disappointed). This option is separate from the Intensive registration and includes accommodation at Youth Hostel/Auberge Simenon in dormitory for 6 to 10 people, 24-hour supervision, bus travel and full board. Information and registration form by clicking here.
Registration confirmations will be sent by EMAIL once the advance payment has been paid. Make sure to add our addresses to your contacts list to avoid the confirmation being sent directly to spam. Addresses: projets@leshivernales.be et infos@stagededanse.be
